Gardens & Griffins
A downloadable game
Gardens & Griffins is a mini story game and tarot ritual, that intends to help you build a daily routine. It’s a simple game about nurturing and caretaking something very precious.
You could use G&G as a start to your morning and an outlook to approach the day ahead. You could try it as a way to encounter a creative endeavor from a fresh perspective. It could also be a simple creative writing project, using it as the basis to tell a story of your own. You could skip the card reading portion altogether, and play with your kids and let them answer the prompts with their imagination! G&G is a creative, playful jumping off point with no wrong way to enjoy.
Q: Is tarot witchcraft? Does it tell the future? Is it... devilish?
A: Reading tarot cards is a tool that can be used many ways. Tarot here is a tool of self awareness and reflection. In my opinion, reading the tarot does not tell my future (or call upon any divine forces), but uses imagery and archetypes to give me insights and new considerations to my current experiences.
Q: Can I play Gardens & Griffins without a tarot deck?
A: Yes! You can use a standard deck of cards and an online resource to interpret meanings. I include a suggested source in the download.
